Holiday Dog Boarding

I provide dog boarding for dogs who need a holiday while their owner's are away.

Any dog staying with us will be treated like our own. the dogs stay indoors and are treated like part of the family. We do not take more than 3 dogs at any one time so booking early is essential.

 

Dogs staying with us must be friendly with other dogs and must be happy to be left alone. Unfortunately I am unable to have dogs who have separation anxiety as they may occasionally be left for up to 4 hours a day while I am out training another dog. We do have chickens and cats

as well so please let me know if this may be a problem.

 

I can provide collection and drop off services for dogs who come to stay if needed. This is at an additional charge (please see price list for details).

 

 

Dog Boarding School

What is Dog Boarding school?

If you need some basic training for your dog but can not commit the time to do it yourself or if you want boarding for your dog with a little extra thrown in then this is the service for you. Your dog would stay with us for a minimum of 2 weeks and learn up to 4 new skills during their

stay.

Examples of such skills would be:

sit,lay down, stand up

stay still until told to move

sit to greet instead of jumping up

walking on a loose lead

come when called

walk to heel

 

Every day your dog will have 2 dedicated 1 hour training sessions to learn their new skills. They would then receive ongoing training opportunities throughout the day to put their new skills into practice in the real world.

 

Each dog must have a behaviour assessment and be accepted for boarding school before a booking can be made. booking in advance is essential as I do not take more than one boarding school pupil at a time. you must be prepared to have a 2 hour hand over when you collect your dog and follow the continuing education at home to maintain the skills your dog has learnt.
